Put off your Mask

Have you ever felt being beside yourself sometimes ? It just occur to me that in life you have to go through on different phase and thus you let out different side of yourself respond to each of this situation accordingly. Sometime you put on a smile when you don't feel like it, sometime you seem sad when your thought was just away, sometime you put out happy face when your heart is actually sinking, sometime you have an angry glare while in fact you don't have any intention to...sometime you just put a mask to your face....

"Do you ever get that feeling where you don’t want to talk to anybody? You don’t want to smile and you don’t want to fake being happy. But at the same time you don’t know exactly what’s wrong either. There isn’t a way to explain it to someone who doesn’t already understand. If you could want anything in the world it would be to be alone. People have stopped being comforting and being along never was. At least when you’re alone no one will constantly ask you what is wrong and there isn’t anyone who won’t take ‘I don’t know’ for an answer. You feel the way you do just because you hope the feeling will pass soon and that you will be able to be yourself again, but until then all you can do is wait."  via atomos

"If you spent ur life concentrating on
what everyone else thought of you…
would you forget who you really were ?
What if the face you showed the world turned out
to be a mask..with nothing beneath it ?"
-Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult-

"The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first." -Jim Morrison- via blog-therevolution

"Because when you know who you are, you know what you want. You do not preoccupy yourself with things that do not burden or stir your heart and that marks the beginning of a dance with a big beautiful thing known as purpose. Purpose is not occupation or prestige or glamor. Purpose is fulfilling what you were designed to do. It’s really simple: just be yourself. Be yourself, excellently." via- Now Here, Everyday Isa
