Violin Concert @ Darmstadtium

I went to a violin concert last weekend. A very good friend of mine, M, was informed me about this concert. Her husband played the violin and he was one of the violinist of TU DA Orchestra that was performing last Saturday. So ja, I had a great time, the concert was beautiful. The Conductor or Dirigent, Herr Christian Weidt really brought the music alive, he was very young and vibrant. Another performer was a violine soloist, her name is Hyeri Kang form Seoul, South Korea. She is just 25 years old but she played her violin like a master, she played it by her heart, she was just amazing.

The concert was held in one of the prestigious building in DA, the Darmstadtium.

 It is a sophisticated building that has been a modern landmark of Darmstadt, right in the center of the city.This building is a multifunction venue where concerts, seminars,exhibitions or even weddings take place.

Hope by seeing all of these picture, you will get an idea of the city I live in now...Some of them are the landmark of the city, for e.g Mathildehohe and the lake that we love so much. I will post something about the Hundertwasser Apartment in the future, will keep you posted then. Anyhow, what are you planning to do this weekend ?
