Sheer Indulgence

It has been not a very good week for me. Both my son and I had a bad flu. Coughing and sneezing due to bad weather recently. I wonder what people do to overcome bad times, well not only when they're sick but also when things are not going their way.

For me, when I am feeling blue or when my days are rough, I use to go to my favorite bakeries.. (yes I know this is why my new year resolutions to cut down my waistline has not succeed). Anyway.. I have some special cakes that has been my ultimate sheer indulgence for years. These cakes has never failed to boost my morale.

Aww..don't tell me you're salivating already....actually I also have another bakery which has been my all time favorite but now is closed down for a while, it is called Andrawina. Their signature strawberry shortcake is sooo delicious !! They also have another cake called Sans Rival which until now has not found its competitor.
