I live in Gotham City. For people who have never heard of this glittery city, here are my descriptions of this city. The Gotham city is a city that never sleeps nor ever awake. You could find anything here from the most expensive brands to the cheapest things you could imagine.
It resembles the big apple New York, where many people like to have a bite. There are various types of people living in this city. One that you can categorized as the copycat-ers, some as the path find-ers another as the commute-ers, if not corrupt-ers and few are the most origin of this land, the natives.
This is the city where you have got to have everything or if you don't, you can not be counted as a citizen. For example, whatever you do you will be asked for your ID, officers will scrutinized it carefully and looked for any invalid information, next they will look at your address if it is typed that you live in a not very well known area or in the outskirt of Gotham city then you are not counted as a citizen - you will get second class treatment in whatever you wish to be bound to.
Common fact is that if you don't have personal transportation a.k.a private car, you will be doomed for the rest of your life. Public transportation are served for people who have tremendously lots of money ( you can not take taxi to go round the city without end up being bankrupt by the end of the day) or for foo-fighters (people who take cheap transportation such as buses which you should be ready for whatever surprises you may get once you're in it). A friend I know refuse to go out without being pick up by a private car or one of my friend's sister beg her parents to buy her a car just for the sake of staying alive in this city.
I experienced one day, if you want to stay healthy and slim you have to be registered in one of the precious gym, this of course not only will cost you a fortune, but if you are not inside a certain click, you will not get accepted in a blink. My attempt to registered myself as a member was of course start by ID scrutinizing, after I passed the address location test, then the questions lead to whether I have the plastic card with visa or master logo on it, after I passed all that they asked me with their suspicious look if my husband is an alien from outside the country, what company he works and so on. This is one of the ridiculous thing that happen in Gotham City, even simple things like get yourself registered to a gym, you need to get through hassle of clarifications. Why should a gym officer need to know every detail aspects of your life, including what car you drive ?
Don't think that it is insane, because it is not your insanity that I'm worried but rather this Gotham citizen's sanity that I am concerned. What more can I say ? This is the city where the hero is a bad-man.
