It has been a while since my husband and I going out to see a movie. We prefer to buy DVD in mal ambassador and watch them whenever we have time. But today is valentine’s day and we thought that we should at least go somewhere else alone (without Omar and his nanny), for the sake of going alone –just the two of us- catching up good old times.
My husband offers to take me to a romantic dine out, of course my first choice is always Nobu Sushi (and there’s no way that we can get romantic in crowded Nobu’s place Dharmawangsa Square). Due to a heavy rain and a heavy traffic, we canceled our plan to eat out at Nobu and opted to go to PIM 2 cinema instead.
We had two choices of movie, CJ 7 (Stephen Cow) and P.S. I Love You (Hillary Swank). Now because this is a valentine moment my husband offers me to choose which movie we should see. Of course, I choose P.S. I Love You. Not only that it is my kind of movie, but it is also a movie based on the book I have read before, so I knew the story already and was curios to see it.
I had a good laugh and a good cry, seeing P. S. I love You. I didn’t know whether my husband slept through a whole movie or did he enjoy the movie as much as I did. All I know I had a good time watching that movie, you know the kind of feeling you have after seeing a movie that can warm your heart.
After that as we drove home, the rain softened and we listened to D’Cinnamon’s Selamanya Cinta. It was a perfect valentine’s day, thanks to my husband who knows me very well of being “miss mellow”.
