My mother just left Darmstadt few days ago, she continued her journey to Munich vis-a-vis Passau to visit my brother. As she left I felt like I miss her already, but after one day all I did was sleep in a deadly mode. Until today I still feel totally exhausted. Perhaps having guests in your home not only required your attention, but also your energy. But it was all worth it, we had fun, we had our moment and that was all that matters.
It is officially autumn now. As I wrote this post, the weather stated it is 3ยบ C, to tell you the truth...I don't have the guts to brave the cold outside my warm and cozy apartment. However, it would be a pity if I missed the autumn beauty.
One thing I like about autumn is how trees changed the color of its leaves.
When it was spring and summer, all the leaves were only colored in green. Dark green, shade green, light green..only green and never been blue. But when autumn comes the leaves are starting to change into several different colors. Yellow, orange, pink, lilac, purple, red tomatoes, just red, magenta red or even colors that I never knew the name....
I stared at this building and wonder how beautiful those leaves are blanketing the whole building. Perhaps it knows that their presences could warm the residents inside in this kind of weather....
Who has the right to determine which leaves are turning into what color ? Why do this all green leaves have different tendencies for different color ? Can we do the same in our life, can we change our colors according to our season of life ?
I am not going to make things complicated. Everyday is a different day this season. There always be some leaves changed its color, some fall to the ground and some stick to its branches try to challenge the wind. While I am bundled into my heavy coat....all I want is simply to enjoy autumn scenery and craving for the warmth of hot chocolate.
"Autumn is a second spring
when every leaf is a flower."
when every leaf is a flower."
As everything that breathe in this universe..in the end it will all turned out brown and fall...
