What I Will Miss Most..

Now, it's about time for us to leave Jakarta..I miss J-town already...
I tried to list all things I will miss in Jakarta and all the things I will look forward to see in my next destination.

First what I will miss most from jakarta is..”suara azan”..yub suara azan dr mesjid yg bagi sebagian org yg tinggal di sekitarnya kadang sgt mengganggu..suara azan yg berkumandang di TV ketika maghrib tiba...dan suara azan terutama saat bulan puasa yg entah kenapa sangat syahdu.....I defenitely miss it..(*sakinah bgt ya gw...hehe)

Utk urusan duniawi..for a start.. I will miss Jakarta for its side street dishes that top “our must visit” lists...or so called jajanan kaki lima...I often went to eat chicken porridge by the wee hour, or Nasi Uduk bang dikun or gorengan tahu isi, cakwe, martabak, nasi goreng daksa, somay sam's strawberry, pangsit menteng, mpek2 radio dalam..and so on....(*dugem abis – dunia gembrot)..

Next, fusion restaurants that are always inviting like nobu sushi, Lotus -dim sum every sunday morning rituals, payon, sambara, ayam taliwang, super kitchen..aarrrggghhh......

Also, hair and body treatment which you can get anytime in affordable price, and of course not to mention all the ITC's..mangga dua, ambasaador and fatmawati..where you could buy almost anything u need.....

Come to think of it..lets not forget our household helpers, e.g. my indispensable cook and my son's nanny are also on of my top lists people that I will miss soo much..

And then there is my utmost sheer indulgence, Korean serial DVDs (*which I could only buy in ambassador n mang-du)., that I don't think I could live without now., I could spent hours without blinking every time I watch Korean movies..(though my husband perhaps feel so much relieved that no more korean movies will distract my attention from my son and him)..hhhh...

Maaannn...Where can I buy such luxuries except in my home town, Jakarta. Bubye jak...
